Hot Dress release new single “Grave Robin”

Six months after their last release, New Jersey indie rockers Hot Dress (Andrew Petrocelli, Caleb Sullivan, Max Fallon, and Jason High) have put out new single “Grave Robin”.

“Grave Robin” takes a different direction from some of their previous works off of their 2023 Take Yourself Apart EP, with more inspiration from indie sleaze and post-punk bands such as The Strokes, The Rapture, and Jeff Rosenstock.

The band recorded the single this past January with Chance Milestone at Headroom Studios in Philadelphia, where many other well known bands such as Modern Baseball, Hop Along, Alex G, and Remo Drive have all recorded.

Jack Shirley, who has worked with Soul Glo, Ex Pilots, and Joyce Manor (to name a few), mixed and mastered the track at The Atomic Garden in California.

“Grave Robin” is a punchy, energetic track with a guitar riff that will get stuck in your head for days. It’s rare that you find a song that translates so well whether it’s a recorded track or being performed live.

We here at Best Left Mag are excited to see what the future has in store for Hot Dress.
