Behind the Scenes of Best Left

Best Left Magazine finds its roots in being Matt Keenan’s capstone project for the Digital Communication, Information, and Media minor at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Upon graduating Rutgers, Matt had decided to ask his longtime creative partner and best friend Olivia Stabile to be partners on the project like they had been partners on so many things before. Since being partners was an already familiar concept to the two of them, Olivia of course said yes, and Best Left Magazine had become more than Matt could have ever hoped, serving as a space for the two to continue doing two things they love so much, especially after their time at Rutgers has come to a close: working together, and exploring the intricacies of the sometimes intimidatingly vast music industry through a creative lens only Matt and Olivia can deliver together.
