If you’re like me and have had the chance to attend See Plus’ “The Sweaty As Hell Tour”, then you’re already familiar with their newest single “Glow”. For those unfamiliar, See Plus is a New Jersey-based noisy indie pop trio made up of Miles Dellaha (guitar & vox), Jake Linsalata (bass & vox), and Alex Fiume (drums).

Performing the latest single along the northeast and wrapping up this string of shows in Montclair, New Jersey, “Glow” is the first of an anticipated 10 song full length project from the New Jersey-based indie rock trio which has been written, produced, and recorded completely independently.

On the release, lead vocalist and guitarist Miles Dellaha said, “‘Glow’ was the first song we wrote as a three-piece, so we’ve learned a lot about how (to be loud enough) to fill out a room by having played this song over and over again since last July.”

See Plus have learned a lot from this tour. They not only expanded upon the foundations they already have from playing together for a considerable stretch, they also learned how to continue to captivate a crowd as a three-piece, and have also had to learn about the recording process as well.

“Jake [Linsalata] just graduated from Stevens Institute with a degree in Music Tech and is our own little at home George Martin,” said Dellaha, but nonetheless, “It has been such a grueling process…we’ve scrapped and re-recorded probably almost 100 demos just figuring out how to do this on our own” recalls Dellaha, “It’s been tough to decide when something is ‘done,’ but we’re finally at a place where we feel more comfortable at home than in a studio.”

Drawing inspiration from shoegaze bands like Slow Pulp, DIIV, and Horse Jumper of Love, See Plus has adopted a more wispy yet noisy sound rich with harmonies, distortion, and a catchy chorus.

“We actually have “DIRT” by Horse Jumper of Love as a reference for how we want our stuff to sound, and reached out to Bradford Kreiger, who did that record, to master Glow! He rules” says Dellaha.

On “Glow”, See Plus have delivered everything you have loved about them already and yet shown a new side of themselves– one of evolution and maturity. With that, the upcoming full length is sure to impress.

Now that “Glow” is available on all streaming platforms, you can catch me singing along at the next See Plus show. You can also sing along for yourself down below or wherever you stream music. <3
